Review of The Door in the Floor (2004) by Naische F — 06 Aug 2008

Good performances from the cast with a story that sort of goes on for too long.. I suppose that the John Irving novel must be superior with its themes more accessible. The film tries to be edgy but never conveys that feeling, albeit in the midst of some heavy issues.

. Unfortunately, by the ending, our patience has worn thin and there is no real payoff.. Still worth a look for some moments and for fans of the actors.
