Review of The Door in the Floor (2004) by Van R — 09 Aug 2008
Good film adaptation from a crap novel (even if the film is only the FIRST HALF of the book), showing how good Jeff Bridges is as an actor. Not a big Basinger fan and filmmakers could've found a better kid to play the Jon Foster role (maybe his bro, Ben?), but here, Bridges, a gorgeous music score, and some serene cinematography makes for an appealing 2 hours.
