Review of The Door in the Floor (2004) by Lasse C — 26 Feb 2009
It is usually a cointoss for me with these independent arty movies. Either I just shut down by the pretention level *cough* Dogville *cough* or I just really get into them. In this case I was very pleasently surprised.
Kim Basinger was tolerable but Jeff Bridges really carried this film and gives us a portrayal of a man in pain dealing with it in all the wrong ways. Its probably not for everyone though.
