Review of The Do-Over (2016) by Lucas Y — 30 May 2016
The best part of the Do-Over is the buddy relationship between Sandler & Spade. They have great chemistry when given the right material. The first 30-40 minutes or so of this are hilarious, then tries to mimic 'Pineapple Express' too much.
The plot was too hard to follow. Too many questions are unanswered. The film is an overall mess, but I didn't hate it. It reminded me how funny Sandler & Spade can be.
