Review of The Do-Over (2016) by Spicy K — 26 May 2016
One of the better Sandler movies in recent times.. By no means a masterpiece and Sandler still seems to be trapped trying to get back to his old form.. This one was a step in the right direction.
The plot is not the easiest to follow unless you watch without ANY interruptions or missing even 1 minute.
Decent performances from Sandler, Spade and Paula Patton do just enough to keep you watching.
It's not going to win any awards but it's a slight return to form for Sandler instead of his usual screaming and silly voices.
