Review of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007) by Mohamed F — 19 Jul 2010
One of the saddest, greatest and most touching movies I've every seen.
Based on the memoirs of the late Jean-Do who suffered a major stroke at the age of 42, that rendered him paralyzed from the neck down, and he could communicate with only his left eye.
The movie is very well done, even if the script was a bit lacking, it really worked out great, and I don't think I've seen anything so touching like that before except for maybe Amenábar's The Sea Inside, but I have to admit that this one was more touching.
