Review of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007) by Aaron J — 25 May 2013
A truly beautiful film that lets you see the world through another man's eyes as he is sitting in a hospital with locked in syndrome. Julian Schnabel should have won Best Director for this film because the film is a flood of emotions, you can feel everything that Jean Dominique Bauby felt as he was going through such an ordeal.
This film is exactly like Jean Do's autobiography word for word. The Cinematography in this film lets you see everything that Jean Do imagined. I really loved this film when I first saw it and it deserves high apraise and an honor to be named one of the greatest films of all time.
