Review of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007) by Interfan841 . — 17 Mar 2011
A magnificent achievement. One of those films that remain with you way after you're done watching it. Julian Schnabel, also a painter, provides a visually inspiring and uplifting picture despite the film's subject matter.
Everything about this film is just spot on and perfect. It grabs you from the start and refuses to let go until the very end. I really do not know what I can say more about this film. It is simply brilliant and one of the hallmarks of cinema.
Very highly recommended!!
