Recently I read an article in variety about how shows like, "The OA," are becoming "the new feature film." "The Discovery," could have easily, and I do believe interestingly, filled a 10 episode schedule with just as strong a finish, but a more comprehensive narrative and character exploration.
Instead, the story is marred by a long winded spoon feeding of an explanation through dialogue between Mara and Siegel near the end. I enjoyed it. Just wanted more detail and story.
