Review of The Discovery (2017) by Matt G — 20 Jul 2017
The first half of this movie is woodenly acted, dreary, and depressing. The second half is riveting, deeply emotional, and extremely suspenseful. The end is so beautiful I cried. I though it was too predictable right up until they threw a curveball twist that I'm going to be thinking about for a long time.
This movie is a slow burner that takes some time to get into, but it's worth the wait.
