Review of The Disaster Artist (2017) by Elliott C — 06 Dec 2017
A film for people that love filmmaking. The Disaster Artist brilliantly captures the madness behind cult classic 'The Room'. James Franco truly becomes Tommy Wiseau and has crafted a film that accomplishes a lot more than just mocking the movie it's based around.
At it's core this film is a celebration of all us losers and weirdos in the world and it's focus on the friendship between Tommy and Greg is what really gives this story such depth and heart. Casual cinema goers might not be able to keep up with all the inside jokes but the goofiness of these character and the absurdity of this true story should keep the whole audience entertained throughout.
