A movie about exceptional self-delusion, and the most off-world dude since the X-Files season 4. Unless this story was true, it never would have worked. It's too outrageous.
It's also a pretty sweet but conventional story about friendship, and how it survives stress and turmoil when it's real. Boy meets boy, boys make uniquely weird movie (which I would totally go to see with a fun crowd), boys yell at each other, boys make up. Greg and Tommy have a truly great friendship, since they've held together to this day, according to the end credit notes.
Stay around to the end of the credits, for some very cool schwarma.
