Fans of the masterpiece that is Tommy Wiseau's 2003 The Room might appreciate this more. Franco treats the original film respectively when he could of easily just took the piss and in turn gives us a nice film about friendship and chasing dreams.
He is also magnificent as Tommy Wiseau/Johnny.
