The disaster artist, although advertised to be a comedy about "The Room" was an extremely touching story about making dreams come true and perseverance. James Franco brilliantly plays Tommy Wiseau, with solid performances from the rest of the cast.
Disaster artist does not require seeing the source material, however seeing "The Room" may enhance your viewing experience. Between the hilarious moments and the touching ones, Disaster artist delivers on everything I was hoping it would and more!
