Review of The Disaster Artist (2017) by Bobby S — 09 Dec 2017
Tommy (played by James) may be a deranged, antisocial weirdo, but all his lies and outbursts have a concealed genuine quality like he's wearing his heart on his sleeve, though under a thin veil. Toward the end I got a little bit of a Brigsby Bear vibe with Greg and Tommy's friendship in creating something that not everyone may truly like for the same reasons the creators would, but finding joy in that they more or less succeeded.
All around a very funny movie.
