A wonderful movie from start to finish. If you like the Haruhi Suzumiya novels and the anime series, then you should definetly watch this film. It is recommended that you see at leas tthe first two seasons of the anime to understand some of the events that happen in the film. To me it's kind of like "it's a Wonderful Life" and.

"Back to the Future" mixed together anime style. In a sense it did feel like a christmas movie while I was watching it, since it takes place around that time. As usual it centers around Kyon for most of the movie as he is the main story teller. What surprised me is that this film was very long at least 2 1/2 hrs long. For an animated film that's a feet that is hard to achieve, especially if it's an anime. But it will keep you intrigued from the very beginning right until the very end. I especially loved the acting by the voice actors. I can't wait to see what the reactions will be when the english version comes out) I especially like the alternate version of Nagato in this film. If you are a fan of all things Haruhi...you should watch this movie...it's that simple.
