If you watch Him first, followed by Her, the experiment is a success. If you watch Her first, it fails. If you watch Them (Him and Her edited together), you're missing what makes the film a unique experience altogether.
Them should not exist. Him should be titled Volume I, Her Volume II, and the filmmakers would have had a one-of-a-kind cult classic. However, simply by there being a 'Them' version, which most people will watch instead of Him & Her, ruins what made this film unique in the first place.
