Review of The Disappearance of Alice Creed (2009) by Brian G — 04 Sep 2010
Home sick one day and rented this on the xbox.
A 3 person cast, 2 kidnappers and one victim.
First off Gemma Arterton was great in this.
Im going to go ahead and spoil this movie like crazy so if you don't want to know dont read (but chances are you won't see this anyway).
First off the relationship between the two kidnappers, totally out of left field and very gross and very unneccesary.
Also this is a pretty disturbing film, not gory or bloody but other content.
The actors are decent in this, but overall its nothing special.
The movie has quite a few twists and turns and betrayals which keeps you entertained and interested, but the story about the guys being lovers just was werid and out of place.
Unless you are curious about this movie I would just skip it, nothing special here.
Rated R for Strong language, Strong nudity, and violence.
