The film offers generous servings of twists, tension, and character drama, which is normally the type of film I love. But, it's ever-on-edge tone greatly reduces it's enjoyment factor and takes a lot of sympathy away from the characters, victims and villians alike.
In short, "Alice Creed" has a lot of attractive qualities, but her "personality" is, ultimately, a deal breaker.
