Review of The Disappearance of Alice Creed (2009) by Tom G — 03 Oct 2010
Cleverly written, with surprising twists and an interesting script that focused on the details and realism of a kidnapping. Very well acted by the three leads. However, the sometimes over-played music and film as a whole leave little to think about, a film which doesn't seem to have much to say.
Should it? I don't know, I just don't know what we're meant to feel at the end.
