Review of The Disappearance of Alice Creed (2009) by Ttt C — 28 Nov 2010
The Disappearance of Alice Creed was a dark movie and what was most impressive that the entire movie was from the beginning to end a three man show. There was not another person in the entire movie and most of it took place in an apartment.
The problem was that the performances were not that powerful and the twists were almost too weird and unexpected. The ending felt a bit cliche and ruined the whole kidnapping angle. However, there were some intense moments in the movie and some dramatic scenes that keep it interesting enough.
J Blakeson was the director.and even for the shortcomings of the movie, he should be given some credits, for creating the story, a dark twisted thriller, but he could have give more depth to the story.
