I never really warmed to Gemma Arterton before seeing this, she was always rather wooden in each of the films in which she starred (including her minimal appearance in Quantum of Solace). Here though she gives a brilliant performance in a tense and incredibly twisty little thriller, which left me guessing until the very end.
