Review of The Dirt (2019) by Gamzguy17 — 21 Aug 2021
The film feels misguided. It presents us the facts, most many would already know if they even become slightly acquainted with he band's history, and instead of feeling remorse and an understanding of the events that had transpired, it lavishly glamourizes its downer moments on an equal plain as its upper moments.
I understand that this is all a part of the 1980's pop culture lifestyle, but it ultimately drowns the film in sacrificial substance style.
