Review of The Dinner (2017) by Tahmina K — 24 Aug 2018
Horrible movie. Promised so much and delivered so little. Consisted of good actors mouthing unbelievable lines regarding a tragic situation --all in a distractingly comical setting. The dialogue was ridiculous, the characters were unsympathetic and the setting was inexplicable. Gere's performance was good, but not enough to save this movie disaster.
The concept was a souffle recipe put in the hands of incompetent chefs who caused it to fall flat.
