Spoiler alert! Ending is revealed in this review! This movie gave me a headache. It should have included a warning: "This movie may be bad for your health." The happy ending can't erase the Very Long, Torturous journey it took to get to it.
There is a long-winded, ill-timed speech Vince makes about how important truth is in a relationship, whether it be your friend or your spouse. (It is impossible to be completely truthful in any relationship.
.not if you expect the relationship to continue.) That is the truth as I see it. This movie also proves that the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions. Vince's good intentions almost get him killed! And no matter how many times he gets beaten up, he keeps bouncing back like Wiley Coyote in the Road Runner cartoons.
The big difference between this movie and the Road Runner cartoons is...the cartoons are very funny. Sad to say, this movie is not. It's tedious and too long and it's too hard to see the humor in comedies as dark as this one.
