Review of The Dilemma (2011) by Sarah . — 17 Sep 2011
I originally didn't want to watch this, and albeit, the first 30 minutes or so had me thinking my first instincts had been right, but as I got further in to the movie, I really started to enjoy it. I laughed (out loud) several times, and surprisingly, I actually liked the story. Sure, it may have been rather predicatble - at times - but it wasn't too ridiculous and I was quite entertained. I love love love Jennifer Connelly, and she didn't disapoint (she's so gorgeous!). Channing made me laugh. Vince Vaughn was Vince Vaughn (i.e. quite funny, had great expressions, and even was able to pull off a couple of "serious" moments). The others were all fine too, but those are the only ones I feel like mentioning. Overall, it was better than I thought, and I'd be fine with watching it again.
What did this movie teach me? I don't like Winona Ryder.
