Review of The Dilemma (1919) by Alec B — 18 Jun 2011
Ron Howard is the problem with this movie. I like the cast and the script seems to be an interesting examination of the "bro" movie genre (i.e. what is the real limit of honesty and truth in a serious friendship and how far would you go for that person?).
Howard has difficulty getting the tone right and the film doesn't really get interesting until the final act, and even then there is too much epilogue to the story.
