Review of The Dilemma (1919) by Christopher C — 08 Jul 2011
I knew going in that this film got a bad write up. Knowing that, I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. There is really nothing novel about it and Vince Vaughn does his usual thing, but I was interested in watching him try to decide how to handle the "dilemma" and then get sh*t on for how he handles it, despite his best intentions.
Jennifer Connely is wasted here and there's not really a lot of comedy. Not great comedy anyway. However, going in with low expectations is what really saved it for me. Still, it's only okay.
