After a surprisingly funny trailer I expected The Dictator to be only a tad bit funny. BUT, nothing got me ready for all the clever and well thought out humor brought by The Dictator. The story is what you would probably expect, The Dictator is hated and is kidnapped and is forced to see life from the citizens point of view.
Its a really generic and sappy story but most of the comedy works. Except two scenes which are extremely gross and otherwise unfunny that are dragged on to about a minute or so. Overall this is a very funny film and is worth seeing at least once.
