I don't know if this is a real expression or not- so if it isn't, I will coin it now just as an excuse to use it- "Sometimes, you have to wade through tons of shit to get to a ruby." This film had tons of pure, unadulterated shit in it.
But there were a few funny parts. Mostly, it was just grotesque.
