Review of The Dictator (2012) by Ian G — 21 Jun 2013
As with most of Cohens films, or at least his comedies, they always push the boundaries of good taste for good or bad, and this one has it moments where it does hit. The closing monologue comparing dictatorships and democracy was pretty interesting and worth a chuckle, along with the delivery scene at Zoey's store, most notably will be remembered for me on the arab flavoring of some fairly iconic mainstream tracks from the last few decades.
Not an all time but not a wash.
