Review of The Dictator (2012) by Alex G — 24 Jun 2014
After a second viewing I will have to admit I like The Dictator which yes I will admit The Dictator has some jokes that could lead to offensive to some people which this time of Sacha Baron Cohen's usual mockumentaty style that he used in the past with Borat and Bruno this time uses all hollywood actors.
Anyway the story of The Dictator is about Wadiyan dictator General Aladeen who is sent to America to speak with the United Nations but not only to realize that his idiot double would be speaking instead of himself so that his double will be assassinated and so pretty much most of the film is Aladeen in New York trying to get his double killed so he can rip the paper that can be signed for the constitution.
Overall The Dictator has some offensive jokes then and there it is better than Bruno but it is not for everyone's taste which The Dictator is pretty funny and not a bad movie that has some funny cameos as well including Megan Fox after she has sex with Aladeen(which that scene was funny) and Edward Norton cameo as well, and anyway though The Dictator is a funny movie not for everyone's liking though.
