It had it's moments. It was funnier than Bruno, but not nearly as charming as Borat. Borat was a likeable guy; his racism and narrow-mindedness came from a sort of innocent ignorance. Aladeen is just a tool who never shows any redeeming qualities.
SBC's humour works A LOT better in the lower budget mocumentary format. The Dictator is just mindless hollywood glitz.
