Review of The Diary of Anne Frank (1959) by Chas D — 28 Aug 2007
A touching old classic that I watch especially for the drama. Anne Frank's honesty shines through, even if Hollywood takes a few liberties (like the fact that her relationship with Peter Van Pelt had cooled by the end of their hiding.
In this movie it continues to heat up, long after it should have cooled into an easy friendship. I'm not saying they didn't flirt, but kiss, oh no no!).
