A nice, non-violent movie that could be shown to older children and teenagers to give them a sugar-coated glimpse of what it was like for some of the Jews during the Holocaust. Some liberties were taken for the movie and Millie Perkins is miscast as Anne, but it's such a compelling story and Shelley Winters stands out as the sharp-tongued Mrs.
Van Daan.
