Review of The Diary of a Teenage Girl (2015) by Timothy A — 17 Oct 2015
Reasonably well put together, and especially well performed. It does, however, make a confused attempt to moralise as it goes, starting with a reasonably frank and honest depiction of teenage sexual desire, then clumsily making its way to the old-fashioned conclusion that if the kids have some sex, they will have all of it.
The use of 70s style comic book sequences suffers badly in comparison to the likes of American Splendor.
