Review of The Devil's Rejects (2005) by Merja S — 20 Jan 2010
Now someone might think "wtf three stars are you nuts?". But no, in some sort of a perverse way I liked this movie. It brings this rusty, sweaty, bloody atmosphere and manages to keep it throughout.
And I found the main characters appealing, even though they were 'bad guys', I was rooting for them 'til the end. It has very visual violence, it's mean and heartless, but hey, sometimes you're in the mood for just that.
So it works as a movie of it's genre, not something to watch when you want rainbows and unicorns and butterflies, nor when you want to be mentally challenged, but when you're looking for just filth in it's purest form, this is it.
