Review of The Devil's Rejects (2005) by Mark K — 09 Sep 2012

The Devil's Rejects completely surpasses its predecessor and is a delight through-and-through. Rob Zombie proved with this film that he is a director to be taken seriously. The characters and presentation are both great and I became engrossed in the movie within the opening minutes.

I just wish that the script could have been a little less muddled, but it's nothing too unbearable. I had low expectations going into this movie so it was a pleasant surprise. The same cannot be said about Zombie's later film, Halloween, a film I found to be a big letdown.

If you want an escape and need a few laughs, you should check out The Devil's Rejects. "Heck yeah.".
