Review of The Devil's Nightmare (1971) by Josh G — 27 Aug 2007

Devil's Nightmare isn't quite bad enough to be good, and not good enough to be good either. Nothing laughable here, although the lesbian sex scene is mildly entertaining, it is possibly the only truly enjoyable scene in the film (aside from maybe the ending, which is only humorous on much later reflection). The tourists were apparently supposed to represent the seven deadly sins, but I could only figure out maybe three -- one woman was killed in her sleep, so... is sleeping a deadly sin?

On the other hand, there were a handful of scenes that had pretty cool shots (e.g. the sepia-toned opening sequence).
