Review of The Devil's Double (2011) by Mike G — 19 Sep 2011
On the whole, this is a rather unpleasant tale about an extremely unpleasant person. Based on a true story about the old friend of Uday Hussain, who was "persuaded" to work as his double.
Dominic Cooper is very good as both Uday and his double. The film itself, while depicting Uday as the pscychopath he was, glories too much in some of his excesses, almost to the point if celebration and leaves a bit of a bad taste in the mouth......
