Review of The Devil's Double (2011) by Peter A — 28 Dec 2012
Dominic Cooper gives two vastly different performances as the outrageous son of a dictator gone wild, Uday Hussein, and his quieter, more centered, exact double Latif. This story focuses on the extreme violence that occurred every day in late 80s Iraq and the moral decrepitude that ensued.
That said the story doesn't really go beyond the basics of what is wrong and right behaviour and so feels a little lightweight. Was more interesting because it was supposed to be true.
