Review of The Devil's Double (2011) by Serge C — 18 Jul 2012
I understand that some stories need to be embellished to keep the ADD audience awake, but the real story is so crazy that if anything it could've been toned down. Instead the director uses such strong embellishments in this movie that it insults audience intelligence and sensibility.
I don't expect it to be a documentary, but I am dumbfounded why insert the concocted and clichà (C)d sexual intrigue and final unrealistic revenge as well as much other supposedly "captivating" material when the truth is stranger (and more interesting) than fiction?
