Review of The Devil's Chair (2007) by Bruce B — 05 Jun 2009

Brilliant. Intelligent twisty plot , fantastic acting, a bit of a mind bender. Gets a rare 5/5 out of me.

This was FAR FAR better than I expected. Started great, had me feeling disappointed in the demon "section" then suddenly came back with a violent and unexpected turn (well I guessed it coming but i'm GOOD lol) But I have to say they took it a bit further than I predicted.

I rented it, and the "extras" were excellent, with some cut scenes and some explanation about the demon "section" that while the ending explained, only made me appreciate it more..

Now to watch his first , "Broken"..can't wait!!

If you liked "High Tension" (french) you'll love this. I think Devil's Chair is actually better. Oh, and watch "Martyrs" (french) for sure!
