Review of The Devil's Carnival (2012) by Greg S — 07 Nov 2012
Three postmortem sinners find themselves eternally enacting ironic fables in a singing and dancing afterlife. Hell is musical theater, I knew it! From the director of REPO: THE GENETIC OPERA, with the exact same strengths and weaknesses as that project: it's an exciting premise illustrated with colorfully baroque costumes and sets, but it's also a musical that doesn't feature a single memorable tune.
It's part of a planned series: it's only an hour long and ends on a mild cliffhanger.
