This is one of those war movies where the story is lost to the american ego. Canadians can't be made to look better than the yaks in a serious film, so they make fun of it. And the historical accuracy gives way to hollywood storytelling.

Still, one of the best william holden war movies for sure. Oh...and it makes the yanks look as dumb as they were.
