Review of The Devil's Advocate (1997) by Pj P — 20 May 2009

This could have been so good. It had lots of classic good things going for it. Brilliant shock the first time that a masks slips. But why (I guess it's the novel which I haven't read) does it have to get spoiled by the return to the path of righteousness twaddle? Going back and doing the right thing. He could have had the earth! Taken over the old man's firm and had some fun. Repent! repent!

Still quite good fun, but I'd rather have had a happy ending.
