The Devil is alive and well and is apparently the boss of a New York City law firm.

The Devils advocate looks a bit dated by 2009 standards however it is clear even today that is an excellent movie.

Keanu Reeves is an interesting choice to play the nieve Southern Lawyer and I was interested how creditable he would be, Im glad to answer my own question with very.

Al Pacino was certainly born to play the devil and certainly delivers his best performance in the role since The Godfather, his facial expressions as well as firary demeanour brings a potentially slow movie to life.

Another thing that I pondered when watching this movie was the presence of Charlize Theron who to be honest doesn't shine and simply provides meat in the room in most scenes, yet she has gone on to be a Oscar nominated actress.

Devils Advocate is a slow burner however and one really does have to stick with it but the viewer isn't disappointed with a interesting dramatic ending.

It is one of those films that one can clearly see as a movie that could easily be a play, however rarely for such movies it isn't boring and rewards your pascience from about 60 mins into the film.

Moreover Devils Advocate is an intelligent Gothic tale about free will and corruption of the human mind and how actions can intertwine and effect many people.
