Review of The Devil's Advocate (1997) by Corey N — 25 Feb 2010
This is a decent supernatural thriller. It stars Keanu Reeves as a up and coming lawyer who get hired by a New York Law firm. But his new boss played by Al Pacino is actually Satan. Keanu character get way over his head with his new job and its responsibilties.
It begins to affect his marriage and his morales. This is a dark and twisted movie. Pacino is great as the devil. And Reeves is also excellent in his role. I felt the film was missing something to make it that much better.
But still this was a solid watch. Worth watching for Reeves and Pacino fans.
