Review of The Devil Wears Prada (2006) by Ian P — 11 Mar 2012

I like this movie so much not because of its fashion theme but because I can relate very much to the work life situation of the main character Andrea who is a college graduate going into her first job and trying to deal and survive in a world she is not fit in - which has a similar situation to my work life back then.

Plus this movie has great acting performances from Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt - all memorable especially Merryl Streep who was a remarkable villain character and showed us here her different side as a great actress.

This movie is not an ordinary chick flick as guys will like this movie too because while the story revolves around fashion industry is presents lessons in career growth, self-confidence, relationships and life principles which everyone will like.

The story itself is worth watching - entertaining with drama and comedy. This is recommended!
