Review of The Devil Wears Prada (2006) by Louis V — 07 Feb 2012

A strangely honest film that jumps on the other side of the band wagon and reveals the reality behind fashion, however was ruined by its ethical ending(I would have prefered Andrea stay on and become another Miranda, therefore justifying the approach Mirand took to her work).

Meryl Streep is fabulous and fully deserved her academy award nomination, playing a role that will remain a classic character for umpteen years to come. The Devil wears Prada is not as transparent as it may appear.
